La vue sur la mer et l’amabilité du personnel. La chambre était très grande.

− Établissement vieillissant qui aurait besoin d’un coup de frais. La cabina voisine semblait à l’abandon. La piscine était mal entretenue. Autre point mais pour lequel l’hôtel n’y est pour rien : l’odeur nauséabonde des sargasses stockées juste à côté. Prix trop élevé pour les prestations proposées.

− Jammer van het zeezwier dat heel de kust teistert. Maar de accommodatie deed wel zijn best om strand min of meer proper te houden.

Everything. This place was beautiful. Staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was magnificent, and location was perfect. I’d found this place by accident, as I’d booked elsewhere and the place was not up to standards. They were so accommodating to take us in, we ditched the other place completely, and never looked back. Look forward to staying here again now that we’ve caught the Tulum vibe.

We loved the staff

Time has slipped by since our holiday in Tulum. I intended doing a review of Zamas Hotel long before now, but better late than never. I was with two friends and we stayed for three weeks in one of the apartments across the road from the hotel which was perfect. We had 2 beds in the living space and a gorgeous en suite bedroom upstairs which had a very spacious balcony with a sea view. There were also two balconies off the living space. The kitchen was very well equipped although we only used it for breakfast. There were excellent supermarkets a short taxi spin away, so if one wanted, you could make much more use of the kitchen. We loved the little beach beside the hotel and although the sargassum started to come in towards the end of our trip, we were always able to swim for most part. We had dinner several times in the restaurant and generally had lunch there most days. It never disappointed. What stood out for us were the staff. They were all very friendly and efficient. Daniel and Fernando went above and beyond in helping us book trips, buses back to the airport as we all left at different times and made lots of suggestions of where to go and what to do during our stay. It was our first time in Tulum and staying in Zamas really helped make our stay very memorable.
