La posizione è a picco sull’oceano. Con una breve passeggiata sul lungomare si raggiungono negozi e ristoranti. Colazione ottima.

− La nostra stanza affacciava sulla piscina e dovevamo tenere la finestra e la tenda chiusa.

The location is amazing. Within a short walk of beautiful beaches, restaurants, and the Old Town. We had a premium room which was spacious and nicely decorated. The television had a lot of channels as well as YouTube. The cleaning staff were very good, cleaned multiple times a day and left the room spotless most times. The only complaint is that once, my clothes were taken out of the wardrobe and left all over the bed. Presumably, they took the clothes out to clean the wardrobe and just forgot to put them back. Other than that, the rooms were always very clean. The man at reception was warm, funny and welcoming despite our check in being at around 11pm. He was very helpful and explained everything well. Similarly, the staff at breakfast were very kind and professional. The food was pretty good and there's a nice man who makes you fresh pancakes every morning.

− My main issue was with a couple of staff members. The best example is the hotel bartender. One night, there was an intoxicated young girl on the bench outside the hotel so we, of course, tried to help her. She was fading in and out of consciousness and we were contemplating whether we should call an ambulance. Whilst this was happening, my partner went inside the hotel to buy some water. The bartender rudely said "you make your bed, you lie in it" and refused service!! Unbelievably unprofessional and dangerous given the circumstances, there are no words for how angry I still am about this incident. Luckily, local restaurants/bars were happy to help and the girl is fine now. Additionally, we had a balcony on the same level as the pool which meant people were able to access it. We had been assured at check in that if anyone tried to use our chairs or sunbed, the staff would ask them to move. However when a couple did use our balcony, a staff member came to bang on our glass door and ask (in front of the couple) whether they were allowed to stay. Obviously feeling pressured and not wanting to be rude, we said yes even though we had been planning to spend the afternoon out there ourselves. This is minor in comparison to the bartender but still unprofessional and not the way most staff in four star hotels would act. Another potential issue is that due to the location, we could often hear music from outside the hotel. This wasn't a big issue for us but given that it's portrayed at a quiet spa hotel, this could be annoying for some people. Overall, the hotel was lovely and I'd definitely stay again as long as I can avoid that bartender!!
